But it is also a fact that carbon can be produced and consumed responsibly. If you use your dream carbon bike every day to go to the office and leave the car behind, that’s certainly better than if you don’t want to use your old steel racer and prefer to take the SUV. Therefore, it does not necessarily make sense to demonize carbon completely. We, too, enjoy riding a lightweight, high-tech carbon road bike, which is why we present some here every now and then. The most sustainable bike is still one that you use as often as possible and for as long as possible – preferably many, many years.
