To summarise very briefly: The design and technical data have been updated, but the original idea of the all-season wheel has been retained. This idea includes:

The new features of the HUNT 4 Season Pro wheelset in detail
Updated, extended asymmetric rim profile: HUNT has revised the rim profile and increased the inner width to 22 mm, which now makes it possible to use tyres with a diameter of 25 mm to 40 mm. The asymmetrical profile ensures even tension of the spokes, resulting in a more robust wheel construction.
The H_Ratchet hub: High-end technology in a budget wheelset
The H_Ratchet hub with 40 tooth ring is also used in the top-end SUB50 Limitless wheelset from HUNT. However, HUNT has developed a version with “J-Bend” spokes (i.e. with a classic bent head) and milled spoke flanges especially for this wheelset. This allows the angle of each individual spoke to be optimised, which increases the durability of the spokes. The double spider hub system offers a larger meshing surface with less material usage compared to other systems.
The floating sprocket rings are housed in a cassette to prevent them from jumping out during maintenance. The HUNT H_Ratchet DBL hub set weighs just 361 grams per set. The system is designed for high torque loads and easy maintenance, including tool-free end cap removal and double-sealed main hub bearings. The hub shell is made of 6066 aluminium alloy, which offers an optimum strength-to-weight ratio. The axle and freehub body are made from particularly durable 7075-T6 alloy and have an H_Ceramic coating to protect them from abrasion.
Handmade and extensively tested
The 4 Season Pro wheels are hand-built and extensively tested to deliver outstanding performance in all conditions and on all road surfaces. This includes extensive impact tests, rolling resistance tests on the road, burst pressure tests and, of course, practical tests with a network of athletes. Every HUNT wheel is made by hand and comes with a quality control card signed by experienced wheel builders.

- 24 spokes on the front and rear wheel. These are triple butted, 2.0-1.6-2.0. The patented Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement technology with an increased thickness of 2.2 mm at the spoke head ensures greater stability.
- Brass spoke nipples for better corrosion protection. The surface is black anodised.
- Laser-engraved graphics with a black reflective sticker offer better visibility even in low light conditions.
- Precision stainless steel industrial bearings with double, full-surface seals are used for the bearings.
