We’ve been graveling in the Erzgebirge a few times. It’s great fun there! In one of the most beautiful low mountain regions in Germany, you can expect great scenery and numerous gravel routes with fun trail interludes! When Tobi Woggon invited us to take part in his Gravel Camp Erzgebirge, we didn’t have to think twice about joining. Are you still thinking? Here are some top arguments for you. What are you waiting for? Come with us to Altenberg in the Ore Mountains on the weekend of August 30th to September 1st!
1. the Ore Mountains are great for graveling!
Whether it’s a short tour or an extensive gravel adventure: the Ore Mountains have the right routes for everyone! You can ride classic gravel roads, cover kilometers on quiet side roads or rock challenging trails. The magnificent landscape of the Ore Mountains is always included. Small detours over to the Czech Republic are also possible at any time. If you’re looking for inspiration, we’ve already experienced several adventures in the Ore Mountains. You can read more about them here and here. In any case, our conclusion is: a trip to the Ore Mountains by gravel bike is always worthwhile!
Here are a few more visual impressions from our last visit to the Erzgebirge:
2. ready to go: the all-round carefree program at the Gravel Camp Erzgebirge
Tobi’s Gravel Camp has a very special charm. Tobi has spent weeks preparing everything so that you can just look forward to riding without a care in the world! Great tours await you for every level. Simply choose the one that suits you and enjoy pure gravel fun.
But anyone who knows Tobi knows that a relaxed program after the ride is also important to him! So you can be sure that the tour is far from over. From the pasta party to the campfire. From a dip in the cool outdoor pool to an informative workshop in the open air. Enjoy the outdoor feeling at Gravel Camp, have fun and meet new people!
3. a great supporting program
You can test the latest gravel bikes from Ghost. Enjoy an “adventure coffee” from Sebastian Breuer. Plan the cool komoot scavenger hunt. Let us introduce you to the “fine art” of komoot planning in advance. Our Martin Donat leads the komoot workshop. He has been using the app for years and shares his experience with you.
4. the bonus argument: win two weekend tickets for the Gravel Camp Erzgebirge with Tobias Woggon!
Actually, we are sure that we have already listed enough arguments. Nevertheless, here’s a bonus: You can win two weekend tickets for Tobi’s Gravel Camp!
